- Mr. Köckler informed the participants, that Mr. Padrino Cifuentes, due to personal and business matters, resigned his board membership. Mr. Gerhard Wagner was elected for one more legislative period for EPC president. Mr. Graf von Drechsel was elected for a new board member of EPC.

1. Organisation
The European Poultry Club (EPC) is a neutral platform and independent network of entrepreneurs and business-oriented individuals in the poultry industry. Therefore the main and central objective of EPC is formal and individual contact between people with similar challenges and needs from different countries. The EPC is managed on a professional basis to establish an open, live and vital network with quick and easy contact among the members.
EPC is an independent Club, with its own statutes. EPC is officially registered in Frankfurt and is managed by DLG (Deutsche Landwirtschafts-Gesellschaft - German Agricultural Society) on contract basis. DLG is the leading agricultural and food organisation for future-oriented entrepreneurs in Germany with a strong view on international topics. Mrs. Heidy Schonebeck from the DLG department for Farm Management is responsible for the EPC Management, investing nearly 40 days per year in this work. Dr. Köckler, member of the board of DLG Managing Directors and EPC committee member, is the coordinator for strategic and conceptual questions concerning the EPC committee and management.
The main activities of the EPC Management in 2003 and 2004 comprised:
- Public Relations for EPC
- Distribution of questions from interested persons to individual members
- Organisation of committee and club meetings
- Development of EPC homepage

In 2008 the EPC has 88 members from 19 countries.
